    Starlink makes sense for regional and remote addresses where NBN is not available, where NBN Fixed Wireless signal is weak or congested, or on rural properties where copper line quality limits speeds to unusable levels. In these situations, Starlink already outperforms the available NBN option on both speed and reliability. Amazon's Project Kuiper will add a competing LEO service as it rolls out in Australia, giving regional customers more choice. Starlink also works as a backup connection for any property that cannot tolerate outages — a Starlink dish alongside an NBN service provides redundancy.
